Finger Lakes Times “Westfall named GCP Citizenship award winner”
GENEVA — The Geneva Community Projects Board of Directors named Heidi Westfall as the 2024 recipient of the Kathy Gaylord Costa Citizenship Award.
This annual award honors individuals who exemplify outstanding service and dedication to the Geneva community, reflecting the spirit of Costa, one of GCP Inc.’s original board members. She played a pivotal role in the Geneva Community Playground Project and was an inspiring leader whose legacy continues to shape the community. The award recognizes those who also demonstrate a commitment to building a better Geneva.
Westfall, a dedicated community leader and account executive at Jack Henry, a company that supports regional banks and credit unions with innovative technology ecosystems, embodies these values. She served on the GCP Board for eight years, and her tireless efforts as the board’s treasurer include preparing the board’s budget and related record keeping of projects ranging from the annual Rosé Soirée, the semi-annual FLXcursion, as well as smaller projects. Her belief in the power of community collaboration, and her willingness to utilize her vast skill set, was a combination that helped advance the impact of GCP during her tenure.
“Heidi’s unwavering dedication and leadership are truly inspiring,” said Rob Sollenne, chief operating officer of Lyons National Bank and a member of the GCP board. “She has worked tirelessly to make Geneva a better place, and her contributions will have a lasting effect on our community.”
